Arganica is the mid-Atlantic’s premier locally sourced food club. Joining Arganica gives you year-round access to an amazing variety of local farm-fresh, artisanal, and organic foods delivered directly to your door every week. Our aim is to bring you the freshest and widest selection of offerings from our local producer network, while saving you time and money. We think buying local should be easy...not work!
Eat Right, Do Good.
Arganica puts you back in touch with your local food chain and lets you support the sustainable practices of the family farmers and small-batch artisans producing the delicious food that you (and we!) love to eat. We support the local economy—increasing the market and incomes of our community of producers—by seeking out the very best local farmers and artisans and bringing their output directly to you.
A Mobile Feast.
Each week, Arganica becomes a mobile feast delivered directly to your door. Our fresh local produce comes from the best no-spray, low spray, and organic growers. Small family farms provide no-hormone and organic milk, cheese, eggs, and fresh meats. Our whole-grain breads, pastas, and sweets are baked with love at small local bakeries. For something special, how about wild game or fresh seafood? Expand your horizons with our range of fresh specialty meats, including buffalo, elk, and grass-fed goat and lamb! Arganica showcases the diverse output of local artisans and small-batch producers – everything from dips & sauces to vegetarian & vegan specialties to treats like ice cream, wine, and so much more. Reflecting the local climate, Arganica's menu features many seasonal offerings and available wild foods like forest mushrooms and berries.
DELIVERY AREAS:
We currently deliver to the Washington, DC metropolitan area (including Northern VA and Southern MD), Baltimore, Annapolis, Frederick, Westminster, Richmond, Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Stafford, Hampton Roads (Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Chesapeake), Williamsburg, and Philadelphia (including the New Jersey suburbs and Wilmington, Delaware). We are extending the Arganica network as fast as we can, so please check our site frequently for updates. See our page on Delivery Areas to find out if we deliver to you.
DELIVERY DAYS & TIMES:
We deliver directly to your door every Thursday (DC metro area only) or Sunday (DC and all other locations). If you're at home to receive your crate, great! If not, we can leave your crate in a discrete location on your property.
Washington DC metro area:
Thursday: between 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Sunday: between 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Noon)
All other locations:
Sunday between 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Noon)
Know Your Food.
Arganica is a young company with ambitious goals. One goal is providing transparency of food origin, which is a crucial piece of information for the earnest locavore.
